Tribit FlyBuds 1 REVIEW: What Does Symmetrical Design Mean?

Today I have another TWS earbuds on review. They are called Tribit Flybuds 1. I hope you are not tired of our reviews of wireless earbuds. There are too many TWS earbuds on the market now, so it is quite difficult to choose the best one.

However, I have probably found a good option for you.

Please, do not confuse Flybuds 1 with Flybuds, because these are different models. They have a different design, specifications, and features.

So, Tribit Flybuds 1 has a good price – $39 on the official website and only $29 on Amazon, but also they provide many interesting features, such as around charging case, IPX8 waterproof, USB Type-C charging port and wireless charging, up to 30 hours of playtime.

Then, let’s start the review with unboxing, look at the design, control options, and talk about sound quality and battery life.

Unboxing

So, this is the box of Tribit Flybuds 1. There is an only company logo on the front and some information about earbuds on the back. By the way, you can scan the QR code to visit the Facebook page or the official website of the manufacturer.

Opening the box, you will find the user manual. Then, we can see the charging case with earbuds, ear tips, USB Type-C charging cable, and lanyard.

You know, these are probably the first earbuds I’ve tested that have so many extra ear tips in the package. You can choose the size and even the shape of the ear tips. It is great!

Tribit FlyBuds 1: Design

Talking about the design of Tribit Flybuds 1, I want to start with the charging case. As you can see, it has a round shape.

I have already tested wireless earbuds with a round charging case, but there are really very few. Most often, the charging case is rectangular or square.

There is a hook on the back, so you can attach the lanyard to the charging case. It is very convenient.

USB Type-C charging port is on the side face.

Inside the case, we can see four LED lights and two earbuds. By the way, the manufacturer says that Flybuds 1 has symmetrical design. It means that you can use the right earbud on the left ear, and vise-verse.

You can also put the left earbud in place of the right one in the charging case, and the right earbud in place of the left one. This is awesome! I have never seen anything like it before.

Also, the charging case is shockproof. However, I didn’t find any information about the waterproof charging case.

From the side, the earbuds themselves are waterproof by the IPX8 standard. They are not afraid of sweat, rain, snow, and dust.

The earbuds are very lightweight and compact. There are L and R marks on the outside, but, as I already said, it doesn’t matter, because the earbuds have a symmetrical design.

There is also an LED indicator and physical control button on the outside.

On the inside, there are two charging contacts.

Thanks to the compact size and different ear tips, Flybuds 1 are very comfortable. You can listen to music for a long time without any discomfort.

The manufacturer says that Flybuds 1 is designed for sports. I have to say, the earbuds do not fall out during active sports. That’s very good.

Connection

Tribit Flybuds 1 connect to smartphones like any other earbuds. First, you need to take one earbud, or both of them out of the charging case. Yes, you can use only one earbud, while the second earbud left in the charging case.

Then, go to Bluetooth settings on your mobile device, and select Flybuds 1. That’s all!

Control Options

As I already said, Tribit Flybuds 1 have physical control buttons. The manufacturer is very proud of the light pressure on physical buttons. It is really easy to press the button.

The available control options are the following:

• One tap to play or pause the music.
• Double-tap to play the next song. By the way, you cannot play the previous song. Double press on the left or right earbud plays the next track.
• You can also triple-tap to activate the voice assistant on the smartphone.
• When somebody calls on your phone, you can answer it with a single tap, or reject the call with a double-tap.

Unfortunately, Tribit Flybuds 1 don’t have vacuum control.

Tribit FlyBuds 1: Sound Quality

Flybuds 1 earbuds are equipped with 8.6mm drivers. These are really big units for wireless earbuds. What does that mean? It means good sound quality.

You should look at the driver’s size when choosing TWS earbuds.

I really like the sound quality of Flybuds 1. Yes, these are budget earbuds for about $30, but the sound is very decent. They have good bass, as well as vocal.

By the way, I also noticed good noise isolation, thanks to very comfortable silicone ear tips. Even if you listen to music in a crowded place, you won’t hear the noise.

Tribit FlyBuds 1: Battery Life

Talking about the battery, I don’t know the capacity of the earbuds and charging case. However, the manufacturer promises 6 hours of playtime on a single charge. That’s very good. I have tested KZ Z1 yesterday, and they have only 2 hours of playtime.

The charging case allows the recharging of the earbuds four times. In total, you will get 30 hours of playtime.

The battery life of Tribit Flybuds 1 is very good.

By the way, the charging case supports Qi wireless charging.

Conclusion

Tribit FlyBuds 1 are very good wireless earbuds. They cost only $29 on Amazon but offer many features. First, this is around a shockproof charging case with a lanyard and USB Type-C port.

The earbuds are very comfortable. Also, they are waterproof by the IPX8 standard. I am very impressed by the symmetrical design. It doesn’t matter which earbud to use – right or left – because they are the same.

The next feature of FlyBuds 1 is easy to pressure control buttons. Yes, these are physical buttons, but you don’t have to press them hard.

The sound quality is good for $30 wireless earbuds. The battery life is great! The charging case even supports wireless charging. Perhaps, the only drawback is the lack of volume control.

Anyway, Tribit FlyBuds 1 are one of the best wireless earbuds for the last time.
