Unboxing
SoundPeats T2 earbuds come in this box.
We can see how the earbuds look like, their main features, such as ANC, Full Touch Control and 30 hours of playtime, and the man wearing the earbuds.
Inside the box, there is a charging case with earbuds inside, a USB Type-C cable, extra silicone ear tips, user manual and warranty card.
You know, I noticed that the user manual is available in different languages, such as English, German, Spanish, French, etc.
You can also buy the earbuds on Amazon from different countries, such as United States, Japan, Australia, Spain, French, or even on Aliexpress.
Design
Talking about the design of SoundPeats T2, the charging case is pretty compact, but the earbuds are not.
The size of the charging case is 64 by 40 by 27 mm.
There are three LED lights on the front and a USB Type-C port on the back.
The dimensions of earbuds are 22 by 17 by 28 mm. They are really big.
I have tested many wireless earbuds, and this is a standard size of them in 2021. SoundPeats T2 are almost two times bigger.
On the other hand, the earbuds fit quite comfortably in the ears. Yes, they protrude a little from the ears, but they are comfortable. They also don’t fall out, which is very good.
As you can see, the earbuds have touch control buttons.
Let’s talk about control functions.
Control Functions
Actually, you can control everything with touch panels of SoundPeats T2, for example, volume up and down with a single tap on the right or left earbud, play or pause the music with the double press, switch to the next track with a long press on the right earbud.
The long press on the left earbud changes the mode between normal, ANC and transparency.
Of course, you can take or reject the phone call. Talking about phone calls, let’s test the microphone quality.
Microphone Test
Hey, guys! I record this sound on SoundPeats T2 earbuds in a quiet room. There is no noise, so it is the perfect conditions for testing the microphone.
Now, I turned on the street noise simulation on my computer. That’s how people will hear you when you talk to them through these earbuds in public places.
Latency Test
You know, I didn’t find any information about the latency or sound delay of SoundPeats T2 earbuds on the official website, so I want to check it out.
First, let’s test the latency while watching videos on YouTube.
Now, let’s play PUBG Mobile.
You know, I think that SoundPeats T2 has pretty low latency, so it is comfortable to watch videos and play games.
Sound Quality
One of the main features of SoundPeats new earbuds is active noise cancelling. The manufacturer says that earbuds can reduce ambient noise by up to 30db. To be honest, I don’t know how to check this, but from my experience, I can say that the earbuds really take the noise of the street away.
On the other hand, if you need to hear the noise around you, then SoundPeats T2 have transparency mode. It also works very well. In transparency mode, you can listen to music and hear everything that is going on around you.
Talking about sound quality, I think it is ok. There is enough bass, and the vocal is clear. In general, the sound is balanced.
Battery
I said at the beginning of this articles that SoundPeats T2 earbuds are bigger than their competitors. I think this is because of the big battery inside.
Each earbud is equipped with a 55mAh battery, while the charging case is 370mAh.
The battery life of earbuds on a single charge is up to 10 hours with ANC off, and about 7 hours with ANC on. The total battery life with the charging case is about 30 hours.
Conclusion
So, the main advantages of SoundPeats T2 earbuds are affordable price – $60, long battery life – 10 hours on a single charge and 30 hours with charging case, active noise cancelling and transparency modes.
I also like the control functions, because you can quickly change the volume, switch the track, answer the phone call.
Among the disadvantages, I can point only one – the size. The earbuds can be big for some people.
