If you are a longtime subscriber of our channel Tech Brothers, you may remember the Oukitel WP6 which we reviewed over three years ago. Perhaps some of you are still using it.
In this article, I want to tell you about the new Oukitel WP30 Pro smartphone. Of course, we are not going to compare it to the old mobile device, because three years in the smartphone industry is a long time, and the improvements are huge.
For example, the main features of the Oukitel WP30 Pro are Dimensity 8050 5G chipset, 12GB of built-in RAM and 12GB of virtual RAM, 512GB of built-in storage, 108MP rear camera, and 120W fast charging support.
The Oukitel company specializes in rugged smartphones, and the Oukitel WP30 Pro is one of them.
So, this is an introduction to the new Oukitel smartphone, but maybe later we will do a full review of it.

Design
Oukitel WP30 Pro is a rugged smartphone, so it has metal bezels on the side faces. The corners are rubberized to protect the smartphone as much as possible after drops or bumps.
It is also IP68, IP69K and military grade waterproof, dustproof and shockproof.
However, the smartphone is quite massive. Its dimensions are 177 x 83 x 19mm. The weight is 413 grams. Yes, it is bigger and heavier than regular mobile devices, but about the same as other rugged smartphones.
The rear panel of the Oukitel WP30 Pro has a carbon fiber texture. We can also see a triple camera, a flashlight and a small display on the back.
It has a diagonal of 1.8-inches and resolution of 390 by 450 pixels.
The rear screen can be used for a clock, music control, camera control, and compass. I think this is a useful feature. What do you think? Write in the comments below.
Display
As for the main display on the front panel, it has a diagonal of 6.78-inches and Full HD+ resolution, 2460 x 1080 pixels.
Like most other rugged smartphones, the bezels around the screen of the Oukitel WP30 Pro are large enough to protect it from damage.
There’s also a hole-punch camera on top of the screen.
Performance
I think performance is the main feature of the new Oukitel smartphone because it is powered by Dimensity 8050 6nm 5G chipset. It also has 12GB of built-in RAM and 512GB of built-in storage.
The Oukitel WP30 Pro doesn’t support microSD cards, but the RAM can be expanded up to 24GB. That’s very good.
You know, I am surprised by the AnTuTu score of 820 thousand, because this is a flagship performance.
Camera
The camera is also very exciting because there is a 108MP main sensor, 20MP night vision sensor, and 5MP macro sensor on the rear panel.
The front camera has a 32MP sensor.
I haven’t seen the real photos yet, and I’m very interested to see a comparison between the 108MP main camera and the 20MP night camera.
Battery
As for the battery, there are a few more surprises waiting for us here.
First, the battery of the Oukitel WP30 Pro has a capacity of 11000mAh.
However, an even more impressive feature is the 120W fast charging.
According to tests conducted by the manufacturer, it takes only 15 minutes to charge from 0 to 50% and 50 minutes to fully charge the battery. That’s very fast, especially for 11000mAh battery.
Release Date and Price
The Oukitel WP30 Pro smartphone will have its world premiere on 11.11 Sale. There is already a page on AliExpress with the price tag of $479. However, I think the smartphone will be cheaper on 11.11, so we should wait.
I will leave a link in the description, so you can check the price when the smartphone goes on sale.
