KMOUK KM-HSB002 REVIEW: Budget Bluetooth Gaming Soundbar!

Unboxing

You know, one of the main features of the KMOUK soundbar is compact size, so the box is also not very big.

Inside the box, we have a soundbar itself, a user manual, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Design

As I already said, KMOUK KM-HSB002 is a quite compact soundbar.

Its dimensions are 400 by 65 by 60 mm. The weight is 800 grams.

The soundbar has the KMOUK logo on the front and LED lighting on the left, right, and bottom. As you know, any gaming product, such as headphones, PC mouse, or soundbar, should have LED lighting. This is the main point of any gaming device.

At the top, we can see a touch button to change LED light, and a multi-function knob. Later, we will talk about the functions of the knob. There is also a small microphone hole near the knob.

On the back, we have a 3.5mm audio jack and AUX input jack. The soundbar has a built-in USB-A power cable.

Control Functions

So, before using a soundbar, you need to connect a USB cable to a PC, laptop, TV, or just power bank.

After that, you have to short press the multi-function knob to power on the soundbar. A long press on the knob for about 2 seconds power off the device.

The double click on the knob switches the mode from Bluetooth to AUX.

When the soundbar is connected by Bluetooth, and you listen to music or watch a movie, then a short press on a multi-function knob play/pause it.

Of course, you can rotate the knob to volume up and down.

As I already said, the KMOUK soundbar has a built-in microphone, so you can answer phone calls. Just short press on the knob for that, when somebody calls on your phone. To reject a phone call, you need to long-press the knob.

If you have any problems with the soundbar, for example, you cannot switch the mode from Bluetooth to AUX, then you can do a factory reset. For that, press a multi-function knob for about 10 seconds.

OK, we have talked about control functions, but what about connection?

Connection

So, you have two ways to connect the soundbar: Bluetooth and AUX. Please, note that some of the functions we have talked before, such as play/pause the music, answer phone calls, and some others, are available only in Bluetooth mode.

So, when you plug in the USB power cable, you need to double press on the knob to choose Bluetooth or AUX mode.

After that, take your phone, laptop, computer, or TV, and go to Bluetooth settings.

Now, you need to choose the KMOUK KM-HSB002 device. By the way, this is the full name of the soundbar.

You should also know that the KMOUK soundbar can only be connected to one device. So, if you want to connect the soundbar to the second device, you need to unpair it from the first one.

You know, the KMOUK KM-HSB002 soundbar is quite compact, but it is very loud.

The maximum volume level is about 82 dB. In addition, I like the bass. It is really deep.

Perhaps the vocal is not the clearest, but it is still good for a budget soundbar.

I wish the KMOUM soundbar had a built-in battery, and it would be a portable speaker, but then the price would be much higher. From other side, you can connect the soundbar to the power bank, and then it will be almost a portable speaker.

For $36, we get a good soundbar for a PC, laptop, or even TV with LED lighting, Bluetooth and AUX connection, a built-in microphone, and good sound quality.
