Dreame T30 REVIEW: Quite Expensive, Because It is The BEST!

Among the main features of Dreame T30 are 190AW suction power or 27kPa, Intelligent HD display, auto-adapt cleaning mode, 90 minutes of battery life.

I am very excited about the new wireless vacuum cleaner, so let’s start the review.

Unboxing

Dreame T30 cordless vacuum cleaner comes in this big box. We can read that a 150 thousand rpm high-speed motor generates powerful suction with a force of up to 190AW. We will talk about this and other specifications, as well as test the suction power later in this article.

Inside the box, I found a user manual. This is a big book, and it is written in eight languages.

Then, we have a carbon fiber rod, flexible adapter, 2-in-1 brush nozzle, soft dusting brush, mini electric brush, extension hose, LED crevice nozzle, smart multi-brush bar, charger, and 2-in-1 charging and storage mount.

Of course, there is a vacuum cleaner itself with a battery, dust cup, HEPA filter, LED display, etc. Let’s talk about the design and construction of the vacuum cleaner.

Design

You know, because of this grey color, the Dreame T30 vacuum cleaner looks like it is made of metal. Actually, it is glossy plastic, but it looks and feels very premium.

On the handle, we can see a single power button.

There is also a charging port on the handle, but you can remove the battery and charge it separately.

The battery is quite big, but we will talk about its capacity and battery life a little later.

By the way, not only the battery is removable, but also the dust cup. You can push the dust cup release switch, and then gently remove the dust cup from the vacuum cleaner.

As you can see, there is a pre-filter first in the dust cup. Then, you can lift a handle of the cyclone assembly, and turn it counterclockwise until it stops. After that, pull to lift out the cyclone assembly.

Now, you can wipe a dust cup with a soft wet cloth.

By the way, the cyclone assembly and pre-filter are washable.

The manufacturer recommends to clean a pre-filter once every 3 months and a cyclone system at least one every 6 months.

There is a also quick way to clean a dust cup after each cleaning – just press the dust cup release button, and then empty the contents.

The HEPA filter is at the top. It is also washable, but you need to allow the filter to dry for 24 hours before the next cleaning. By the way, it is recommended to clean the HEPA filter once every 4 to 6 months.

OK, now let’s talk about display functions.

Display

So, we have two physical buttons on the top and bottom of the display screen. The button under the display allows switching suction level. There are four suction levels available, such as auto, eco, medium, and turbo.

As I said before, you need to press and hold the power button on the handle to clean. If you don’t want to hold down the power button all the time, then press the lock button above the screen to choose the continuous cleaning mode.

You can also press and hold the lock button for about 2 seconds to reset a filter.

This is an intelligent display because it also monitors dust level. When the color of the curve is green, then the dust level is low. It is very good. If the curve is orange, then you have a medium dust level. A red curve means a high dust level.

By the way, you can also change the language on the display. For that, press and hold the button under the screen for about 3 seconds, and then go to Language. There are many languages available.

Another feature that I like in this cordless vacuum cleaner is that we can see a remaining battery life depending on the suction level. When you change the cleaning mode, the remaining time also changes.

If we started talking about runtime, then let’s talk about the battery in more detail.

Battery

As I already said, the Dreame T30 vacuum cleaner has a quite big battery. Its capacity is 2900mAh.

I fully charged the battery to 100%, and we can see of the display a remaining runtime in auto mode – 94 minutes, eco mode – 94 minutes, medium mode – 36 minutes, and turbo mode – 7 minutes.

Okay, now let’s talk about accessories, and how to use them.

Accessories

The Dreame T30 cordless vacuum cleaner has many accessories in the package. I think the main one is a smart multi-brush bar because it is for cleaning floors such as marble, tile, and low pile carpet.

Then, we have a mini electric brush for vacuuming dirt, pet hair, and other debris from sofas, bedding, and fabric surfaces.

You can also use a 2-in-1 brush nozzle for vacuuming dust from curtains, keyboards, sofas, etc.

A soft dusting brush is really good for cleaning LCDs, keyboards, and other fragile objects.

Extension hole will be useful for cleaning the corners, cars’ interior, and other hard-to-reach places.

The last accessory is the LED Crevice nozzle. It has LED light, and it is suitable for vacuuming debris in narrow places.

Noise Level

Before the cleaning test, I want to measure the noise level.

Dreame T30 has the lowest motor speed in eco mode. The noise level in this mode is 61 Db.

However, I think you will mostly use a cordless vacuum cleaner in auto mode. The noise level is 62 Db.

Then, we have a medium suction level, and the noise in this mode is 74 Db.

The most powerful suction level is turbo, and it is the noisiest – 76 Db.

Cleaning Test

Finally, let’s do a cleaning test, and find out the efficiency of cleaning.

So, I have 100 grams of debris, and now I will scatter them on the floor. I use the automatic mode to vacuum this debris.

A couple of seconds and the cleaning is done!

As you can see, the debris is still the same 100 grams. The cleaning efficiency is 100%.

Conclusion

As I said at the beginning of this article, this is the most advanced and expensive vacuum cleaner I have ever tested. One of the main a feature of the new the Dreame cordless vacuum cleaner is the intelligent display. It has a dust level real-time monitor, remaining battery life, four suction levels, and even the option to change a language.

The next thing that I like about the Dreame T30 vacuum cleaner is washable filters. Actually, you can wash everything in this vacuum cleaner, except the motor, for example, HEPA filter, pre-filter, and dust cup.

By the way, I forgot to tell you that the capacity of the dust cup is 600ml.

I said that Dreame T30 is the most expensive vacuum cleaner that I have tested, but also it is the most powerful. The suction power is 190AW or 27 thousand Pa. For example, the most powerful robot vacuum cleaner has only 5 thousand Pa suction power.

There are also many accessories in the package to clean not only the floor, but also dark corners, furniture, narrow spaces, and other hard-to-reach places.

Dreame T30 is definitely the best cordless vacuum cleaner that I have tested.
