I want to share with you some of my problems. First, I have a cat. Of course, the problem is not with a cat, but with her fur. It lies and flies all over my apartment.
In addition, the flowering season of various plants is about to start, and I am allergic to them.
Lastly, I live in a big industrial city, so the air quality is not the best in my place.
You know, one device can solve all these problems. This is a new air purifier from Dayette Company. I have the largest model called AP401. It has a coverage area of 1720 square feet or 160 square meters. Its clean air delivery rate is 400 cubic meters per hour.
You can also buy a more compact model of air purifier with 1290 square feet or 120 square meters of coverage area and 300 cubic meters per hour of clean air delivery rate.
There are also replacement filters available for a variety of purposes on Amazon.
OK, let’s unbox and talk about the main features of the Dayette AP401 Air Purifier.

Unboxing
As I already said, I have the biggest model of air purifier, so it comes in a large box.
I like that the box has all the information about the product. We will talk about all these features in the article.
In the box, we have the air cleaner. You need to turn it upside down to find the other contents, such as the HEPA filter, power adapter, remote control, and user manual.
Design
So, the first impressions are that the air purifier is big.
Its dimensions are 440 x 250 x 250 mm. However, it is not heavy – only 3444 grams.
There are two handles on the sides, so you can carry it comfortably from one room to another.
Like the other air purifiers, Dayette AP401 has a HEPA filter at the bottom. You can rotate the twist handle counterclockwise to unlock, and then take the filter out. We will talk about the filter a little later.
We can also see a power adapter interface and air quality sensor on the back.
By the way, the sensor looks like this.
The front panel has the DAYETTE logo and LCD display. We will come back to the display later, but now I want to tell you how the air purifier works.
How It Works
As I said, the HEPA filter is on the bottom of the air purifier. When it runs, dirty air is taken from the bottom, passes through the filter, and clean air comes out the top.
It means that you cannot cover the holes at the bottom and top for the air purifier to work effectively.
Filter
If we talk about the filter, it is quite a large size.
The dimensions of the filter are 240 by 212 by 212 mm.
It looks like I have the original HEPA Filter, but you can additionally buy a pets dander filter, a Toxin VOCs filter, and a smoke filter.
You know, all the filters use a 4-stage filtration system, such as pre-filter, True HEPA Filter, Activated Carbon Filter and Net Filter.
The main part is a True Hepa H13 filter, because it removes up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as allergens, pollen, dust, pet dander, smoke, etc.
The carbon filter physically adsorbs smoke, odors, and fumes.
The pre-filter captures large particles such as dust, lint, fibers, hair, etc. You can clean the pre-filter with a wet cloth.
However, the entire filter should be replaced every 3000 hours or about 6–8 months.
You know, most air purifiers use a 4-stage filtration system, because it is very effective. However, this is the first time I meet an air purifier with filters for different purposes, such as smoke remover, toxin VOCs, and pets allergy.
Display
Now, let’s turn it on and look at the display.
First, Dayette AP401 has a power on/off button.
By the way, the control panel is touch-sensitive.
Then, you can press the second button to change the fan speed. There are four fan speed modes available.
The other buttons are sleep mode, filter reset, timer, and child lock.
When the air purifier works, we can see the PM2.5 digital display and air quality indicator.
Dayette AP401 also comes with a remote control. I think it is a very useful feature because you can control the device remotely.
You know, there is no smartphone app support, but I don’t think that’s a problem.
Remote Control
The remote control is enough for convenient use of the air purifier, for example, power it on/off, change fan speed level, reset filter, child lock, sleep mode and timer.
Noise Level
Finally, I want to measure the noise level of the air purifier in different fan speed modes.
The noise level of Dayette AP401 starts from 41 db at first speed, and it reaches 55 dB in turbo mode.
You know, it is a large air purifier, so it is very powerful. I do not think you will use it often in turbo mode, but at first and second speed, it is almost silent.
Conclusion
So, the new Dayette AP401 air purifier is designed for large rooms up to 1720 square feet or 160 square meter.
It has a very high clean air delivery rate of 400 cubic meters per hour.
The air purifier has a built-in air quality sensor, so it can automatically adjust a fan speed depending on air pollution.
I also like a remote control. It is very convenient.
Looks like I found a good device to solve the problems I was talking about at the beginning of the article. I will definitely be using this air purifier.
