I first tried bone conduction headphones about two years ago. After testing Mojawa Mojo1, I realized that bone conduction headphones are the best for sports, in particular for running.
I also checked out the Mojawa Mojo2 headphones, which has an ultra-lightweight design.
The latest bone conduction headphones from Mojawa has an improved water protection by IP68 rating, so they are suitable for swimming. However, the name suggests that they are designed for running.
In this article, we will unbox and test Mojawa Run Plus bone conduction headphones.

Unboxing
The new bone conduction headphones come in this box.
As I already said, the headphones are called Mojawa Run Plus, but we can see the IP68 logo and Suitable for Swimming on the box.
There are other features of the headphones on the back of the box, such as open-ear design, 8 hours of music and calls, maglev bass, titanium frame, and 32GB of storage.
The box opens like a book.
On the left, we see beautiful drawings of the headphones, as well as the slogan Feel the World in a New Way.
So, first, we have the headphones. By the way, the new Mojawa Run Plus looks very similar to the previous model Mojawa Mojo2. We will talk about design of the headphones a little later.
There is also a nice carrying bag in the box, as well as user manual, warranty card, and serial number, earplugs, and magnetic charging cable.
I really like the packaging of the new Mojawa Run Plus headphones, including the way the box is opened, the drawings, and so on.
Unpacking leaves a very good first impression of the headphones.
Design
So, it looks like the Mojawa Run Plus have an identical design to Mojawa Mojo2. I think it is the main reason why the new headphones are not called Mojawa Mojo3.
However, I really like this design, so I am not complaining by any means.
These are probably the most lightweight bone conduction headphones on the market. The weight of Mojawa Run Plus is only 30 grams.
The dimensions are 130 x 105 x 45 mm.
The main advantages of the bone conduction headphones are their open design and secure fit, making them the best for sports.
The frame is made of titanium, but it is coated with soft plastic, so the headphones will not rub on you during sports.
One of the main improvements in the new headphones is the IP68 waterproof rating. The manufacturer claims that Mojawa Run Plus can be submerged 2 meters under water up to 2 hours. Unfortunately, I have no way to check it now, so we will take the manufacturer’s word for it.
Now let’s take a closer look at the headphones.
Mojawa Run Plus has a physical button on the left ear. When you turn on the headphones, the indicator light on the right side of the Mojawa logo glows.
In fact, it is not just an indicator light, but also a touchpad. We will talk about its control functions a little later.
Then, there is a microphone hole on the right ear. We will also check the mic quality later in this article.
The magnetic charging connector is on the inside.
MP3 Storage
By the way, another improvement of Mojawa Run Plus headphones is the MP3 built-in storage.
All you have to do is connect the headphones to your computer through a charging cable, and then you will see the storage on your laptop. Now, upload the music to the headphones storage. That’s it!
It is a very useful feature because you can listen to music without connecting the headphones to your smartphone.
Control
Now let’s talk about control functions.
I already told you about local storage, but you can quickly switch between Bluetooth mode and MP3 Mode. You just need to double click the button and hold it until you hear MP3 Mode.
In the same way, you can switch to Bluetooth mode.
By the way, when MP3 mode is enabled, you can double-click on the touchpad to shift between normal play, shuffle and single loop. This is very cool.
Mojawa Run Plus also has a volume control function. Swipe up on the touchpad to volume up, and swipe down on the touchpad to volume down.
You can also double-click the touchpad to activate voice assistant on the smartphone.
The physical control button on the left ear not only turns the headphones on and off, but also plays and pauses the music with a single click, switches to the next track with a double click, and switches to the previous track with a triple click.
You can also answer the phone call with a single click on the button.
Microphone Quality
If we started talking about phones calls, let’s check the quality of the microphone.
What’s up, guys! I am testing the microphone quality of the Mojawa Run Plus headphones. One, two, three, one, two, three.
You should note that I am in a quiet studio now, but during sports, especially when you run, the sound quality may be different.
Sound Quality
When it comes to the sound quality, Mojawa Run Plus uses the world’s first dual suspension anchor system. The headphones also have a Patented Physical Bass Strengthening technology to produce a deep and resonant bass.
I have already said in previous videos about Mojawa headphones that you need to get used to bone conduction headphones because the sound is transmitted through the bone vibration, not directly in the ears through the speaker.
You may even feel uncomfortable at first. However, after a couple of minutes you will get used to it.
The feature of the bone conduction headphones is that the sound seems to go 360 degrees around you. You don’t understand where the source of the sound is. I really like this.
I think Mojawa Run Plus have taken a big step forward in sound quality compared to previous models.
By the way, another feature of bone conduction headphones is the open-ear design, which allows you to hear surrounding noises, keeping you safe while running or cycling.
However, in especially noisy places such as airplanes or trains, you can use earplugs.
Battery
Finally, let’s talk about battery.
Mojawa Run Plus headphones are equipped with 150mAh battery.
The full battery charge takes only 50 minutes.
As for the battery life, it is about 8 hours at the 75% volume, and 6 hours at the 100% volume.
It’s more than enough for a few workouts.
Conclusion
Even though the Mojawa Run Plus design is the same as the Mojawa Mojo2, the new headphones have received several improvements, such as IP68 waterproof rating, 32GB of built-in storage, a new Bluetooth 5.2 version, and better sound quality for me.
By the way, I also saw that Mojawa Run Plus headphones are tuned by 5 Grammy Winning Audio Producers. I think that says a lot.
