You know, I have already tested a few bone conduction headphones this year, so I have something to compare. The new headphones from Mojawa look more compact and lightweight than other bone conduction headphones.
They also have IP67 waterproof rating, touch control panel, and 8 hours of playtime.
By the way, this is the second generation of headphones from this brand. We already tested Mojawa MOJO1.
OK, let’s start the review of the new Mojawa MOJO2 bone conduction headphones with unboxing.

Unboxing
When you buy the headphones, you get them in a box like this.
On the back, you can read the main features of the headphones, such as open-ear design, wideband vibration system, IP67 waterproof, titanium frame and others.
Inside the box, there are the headphones, and the instructions how to use them.
However, there is also a paper user guide, pouch, magnetic charging cable and earplugs.
By the way, Mojawa is the only manufacturer that puts earplugs in the package. I haven’t seen them included with any other bone conduction headphones.
Design
Unfortunately, I don’t have the first generation of Mojawa headphones, so I cannot compare them with the new one. However, I have another bone conduction earphone. As you can see, MOJO2 is more compact.
The dimensions of these headphones are 130 x 95 x 50 mm. The weight is only 26 grams.
The frame is made of titanium, so it is very durable.
As I already said, the headphones have IP67 waterproof rating, so you can do sports in the rain. However, you shouldn’t swim in the pool with these headphones.
MOJO2 has only one physical button on the left ear to power on the headphones. The touch panel on the right ear adjusts the volume. We will talk about control functions a little later.
When the headphones are on or being charged, the LED indicator on the right ear lights up. Actually, this is not just a small LED indicator, but the Mojawa logo lights up.
The magnetic charging port is also on the right ear.
The headphones have a microphone with environment noise cancellation.
So, the new Mojawa MOJO2 bone conduction headphones really look better than the previous version. They are smaller, lighter, and have a touch control panel.
Now, let’s talk about control functions.
Control
First, you need to power on the headphones by pressing the power button on the left ear. You can power off the headphones the same way.
By the way, this is not only a power button, but also a multifunction button. You can press it once to play/pause the music, double press to skip to the next track, and triple press to back to the previous track.
You can also answer the phone call by single press the power button, and decline the call by double press the power button.
If you want to call a voice assistant on the smartphone, then double-click the touchpad.
However, the main function of the touchpad is volume adjustment.
You can slide your finger upward to increase volume, and downward to decrease volume. You know, this is very convenient when you do sports.
Microphone Quality
Now we can check the microphone quality.
You will probably use the headphones on the sports fields or at the gym, where it is quite noisy, so I decided to test the mic quality outdoors.
Hey, guys! I am testing a microphone of Mojawa MOJO2 bone conduction headphones. One, two, three, one, two, three.
Sound Quality
The manufacturer says that the new headphones use patented 3rd generation Maglev-Bass Actuator. The bass of MOJO2 is 10 times louder than traditional sound-generating units.
I have always been skeptical about sound quality of bone conduction headphones.
However, the new MOJO2 really have powerful bass.
In addition, the volume is very high, so even despite the open ear design of the headphones, listening to music is comfortable.
If this is your first bone conduction headphones, you will need to get used to them. The sound is transmitted through the bone vibration, and the feeling is very unusual.
Overall, the sound quality of these bone conduction headphones is better than many budget earbuds and over-ear headphones.
Battery
Talking about battery, it has a capacity of 130mAh. Yes, the battery is not big, because the headphones are much smaller than the previous version.
However, the playtime on a single charge is up to 8 hours. That’s really good.
The charging time is about 80 minutes.
Conclusion
So, the new MOJAWA Mojo2 are one of the most compact and lightweight bone conduction headphones in 2022. They are very comfortable, and probably the best for sports, because you can run, jump, cycle, and the headphones will not fall off.
I like the touchpad to control the volume, and a multifunction button to switch tracks and answer phone calls.
As for the sound quality, the bass and volume are very good.
So, for the price of $99, Mojo2 are good bone conduction headphones.
